Upcoming Mom to Mom Sale August 27th 2011 Thorold Ontario Canada

As some of you know, I'm also half of 2 Moms On a Mission...Who says kids should cost you a million.

We are organizing our upcoming Mom to Mom sale which will be held Saturday August 27th 2011 at Holy Rosary Hall in Thorold Ontario Canada.  9am-1pm.  

These sales are a great way to get great baby & children items for super great prices!  There are people selling their used goodies, as well as vendors representing their business and selling brand new stuff with deals of the day.  

We still have spots left, let me know if you'd be interested in grabbing a table to make money while clearing out your house.  Also, if you'd like to contribute to our grab bags and/or door prizes please let me know.  It's a great way to get your products out there, and to get your name out there.   (you don't have to have a table at the sale)

Our Upcoming Mom to Mom Sale August 27th 2011 - Let's start getting ready!

As some of you may know, I co-hosted a Mom to Mom Sale with my fellow blogger friend Carly from The Baby Place.  It was held in Thorold Ontario Canada at Holy Rosary Hall.  It was  a great success!  

People were talking about our sale for quite sometime, and word on the street was our grab bags were the best ones most people have gotten from a sale like this in a long time.  

We're starting to plan ahead for our upcoming sale August 27th 2011, still being held at Holy Rosary Hall in Thorold Ontario Canada.

We're offering an early bird incentive to those that get their payment in by June 1st. 

We're also in search for anyone that would like to gain exposure and advertisement by contributing to our grab bags, door prizes, or sponsor the sale itself.  Of course you are welcome to do all 3 for amazing advertisement!

FREEBIE - Home Depot Children's workshop May 14th 2011 Building a Tulip Planter

If you have any nuggets at home, preferably between 4-12 years old, here's something fun for you guys to do on May 14th 2011.  Visit your local Home Depot (but make sure you register 1st) at 10 am for this 2 hour workshop.  The kids get to take their work home, and this is all for free!

Niagara Parks is offering us locals a great day of fun, and most for only $5! 

A sweet list including parking, food, retail, and attractions.  

Check out this amazing list of attractions which will all be only $5 admission per person on May 1st.

$5 parking (at all NPC paid lots), and  $5 All-day in-Park transportation on the Peoplemover Bus and the Falls Incline Railway systems.

 $5 hamburger or cheeseburger combos (including French fries and drink) at Table Rock’s Burger Town, $5 Tapas all day at Elements on the Falls Restaurant and only $5 for a baseball cap or stainless steel water bottle at Niagara Parks gift shops.

“We wanted to do something special to highlight the beauty and grandeur of the Niagara Parks and Niagara Falls. We especially want to bring families out for the day and to remind people who haven’t visited us for a while of just how wonderful this place is,” Fay Booker, Chair of the Niagara Parks Commission, said.

The Parkway will be closed from Clifton Hill to Murray Street between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 1 so that cyclists and pedestrians can better experience Niagara Falls.

White Meadows Farms Frog Run

White Meadows Farms is located in St Catharines Ontario, and is having their Frog Run Saturday April 9th 2011.

The Frog Run all began in New England long ago. It was said that as the weather became warmer toward the end of the maple season, one would begin to hear frogs croaking throughout the night. This was the sign that the season was almost over and that the final sap run was at hand. And so it was that the last boil of the year was known throughout the land as the "Frog Run".


Join us on Saturday April 9, 2011 for a fun filled morning as children ages one to ten help us celebrate the end of our syrup season with our first annual "Frog Run". Similar to an Easter Egg Hunt, children will explore the yard and collect toy frogs for some fun and fantastic frog and maple related prizes.

When: Saturday April 9, 2011

Times: 5 and under9:30am - 10:30am, 6-10 years 10:30am - 11:30am

Frog Run fees: $3.00/child or $5.00 for two children

Please register in the Pancake House to receive your tickets.
We will provide boxes for all children to borrow and catch their frogs in during the "Run"!

Cherry Hill Photo returns once again this year to the Pen Centre’s Food Court Amphitheatre to help celebrate Easter. Niagara Kidsapalooza May 7 2011

If you're local or will be in this area May 7th 2011 you're in luck.  Niagara Kidsapalooza a Children's Concert & Awareness Event will be taking place at Collegiate Institute and Vocational School in ST Catharines Ontario Canada.   This is a fundraiser for Pathstone Mental Health.  The day will also include a variety of information booths provided by local agencies and businesses, a BBQ, and a raffle.   They have a great list of sponsors that sponsored the raffle prizes, and are still accepting more if you'd like to advertise for yourself.  Check them out on facebook.
